We are celebrating our twenty fifth year in business year and for the remainder of 2005 we have reduced our DJ fee for a four hour performance from $400 to $300. a $50/hour fee is required for each additional hour. Price is negotiable for small parties and small numbers of guests. Also, karaoke, lighting and smoke are provided and pricing for those additions are negotiable. Also gigs under four hours, fee is negotiable. <br> <br>We play all styles including R&R, R&B, Soul, 40s through current, Latino, Cumbias, big band, swing, country, hip hop, rap, waltz, fox trot, classical, you name it we play it. We have over 10,000 titles. Our equipment allows us to accommodate CDs, 33s, 45s and even 70s type records. We have an 8 to 12 channel mixer with 4 to 6 microphones for participation by guests for karaoke fun and vocalizing. <br> <br>Our band plays mostly top 40, swing, jazz, bossa and dixiland, depending on your needs and the size of the band engaged. Band size varies from a three piece combo to an 18 piece big band. Band prices start at $1000 to $4000 for a four hour performance. Additional time and price is negotiable. <br> <br>We perform for all types of events including wedding receptions, the wedding itself, anniversary events, elementary, high school, college and University dances and events such as proms. We played for many years as a pep band for Basketball and Football games for the University of San Diego and have written all pep band tunes for the cheerleaders.

The Curt Stan Band is comprised of San Diego's finest musicians. Several have worked with great bands of past years such as the Dorsey Bands~ Stan Kenton~ the Charlie Barnett Orchestra and Ted Heath's big band in England. <br> <br>Our goal is to bring musical excellence and dancing pleasure to our audiences. Because of our versatility and our extensive repertoire which includes music of the forty's to the present~ we are able to offer music that ranges from quite and smooth to latin~ rock~ disco and swing. <br> <br>We have played to highly enthusiastic audiences at the Convention Center in San Diego~ the Sports Arena~ the Gaslamp District~ The Southern California Exposition~ The Centre City Association Downtown~ Balboa Park Pavilion and many successful dance events at Local Colleges. <br> <br>The Band is available in 3-18 musicians depending on the event. But large group or small we'll play for all occasions for your enjoyment in styles you would like to hear. |
