Mold & Asbestos Remediation, Testing & Consulting Years in business: 2003 Products and Services: MSE's Four Step Process - Inspection~ Pre-Sampling~ Remediation and Post-Sampling Step 1 - Identify Red Flag Areas and Moisture Source A visual assessment for fungal growth and moisture intrusion is conducted to identify red flag areas. Moisture detection equipment is used to determine if active moisture is present and identify the moisture source. Step 2 - Pre-Sampling and Mold Remediation Scope of Work A sampling protocol is created based on Red Flag areas that were found during the inspection. Air~ surface~ wall or cultured samples may need to be taken to determine what fungal contaminants may exist in the air~ on surfaces or wall/ceiling cavities. All samples are sent to an AIHA accredited laboratory for analysis. A scope of work is then created based on visual assessment and sampling protocol. A scope of work is a detailed set of mold remediation instructions created by MSE which is then given to the mold remediation contractor to follow for removal of the impacted areas of mold. Step 3 - Mold Remediation Oversight and Monitoring MSE will monitor the mold remediation project to determine if the scope of work is being adhered to. If additional unseen mold growth is found during the course of the remediation~ MSE will expand its scope of work on sight to keep the remediation project on schedule. Step 4 - Post Remediation Sampling After mold remediation is completed~ MSE will validate the contractors work through visual assessment.
